These works are emotional pieces, not logical, not easily explained. Perhaps one associates them with scribbles (children's drawings)? Maybe one sees their pregnant body? Perhaps one sees separation anxiety…? Perhaps it is an expression of how a woman's body feels and how we try to cover up this feeling with makeup and cosmetic procedures?

The works also deal with power structures, the fact that abortion is a public debate, that women's appearances are a subject in political debates, that women in public situations are threatened with sexual assault...

My starting point for the series is to express the emotions triggered by the above-mentioned themes. I have worked with form, materials, and texts that are combined - like a collage - and the expression is, even for me, open to interpretation.
